What does a hired hot tub need?
A little preparation protects the equipment and helps the setup run smoothly.
A flat, solid area
The ground must be level, stable and free from stones, sharp objects, branches and other hazards. Do not guess the required footprint—ask us for the measurements of your chosen tub.
Safe garden access
We need a practical outside route from the vehicle to the setup area. Tell us about narrow gates, steps, parking limits, long carries or restricted access in advance.
An outdoor water supply
The tub is filled at your property, so a working outdoor tap or another agreed suitable water supply must be within practical reach of the setup.
Compatible power
A suitable power supply must be available near the agreed location. We will confirm the connection requirements before delivery; do not improvise with unapproved extensions.
When will the hot tub be ready?
We plan delivery before your first proper use
The water enters the tub cold and must be heated after filling. Around 18–24 hours is a sensible general guide, but the real time changes with the weather, starting water temperature, tub size and the temperature you choose.
That is why delivery is normally planned before the first day you intend to spend in the tub. We start the setup and explain what to expect. Keeping the insulated cover properly closed while the tub heats makes an important difference.
An adult needs to be available
A responsible adult should be present for delivery and handover. We show you the controls, cover and the operating guidance supplied with the hire. This is the right time to ask questions about temperature, keeping the cover secure and what to do if anything looks unusual.
Delivery and collection are arranged as time windows because traffic, previous collections and garden access can affect the day. We confirm those details with the booking.
